Dr Melvin Tan, a practising cardiologist with over 30 years of experience, handles almost 200 heart cases a year. He has also been invited to speak on all aspects of heart disease at numerous forums both at home and overseas. Dr Melvin Tan started into private practice in 1996, visioning to bring state-of-the-art and affordable cardiology care to many individuals. In 2000, he was invited to be one of the 5 cardiologists to be visiting consultant to the National University Hospital Heart Clinic.
